Grace Touhill will be performing as Rosaura in a little-known comedic scene from Wolf-Ferrari’s Le Donne Curiose. "Riders to the Sea"
Peabody Opera presents a double bill in Friedberg Hall: Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Riders to the Sea and Missy Mazzoli’s Proving Up. This pair of one-act operas, sung in English, feature striving families in the 1800s trying to better their fates in the face of nature’s formidable obstacles. Grace Touhill performed as Cathleen in Riders to the Sea on Friday & Sunday in this early 20th-century opera, which takes place on the desolate Irish island of Inishmaan where fishing families face the continual threat of life on the sea.
The Baltimore Basilica of the Assumption USCCB Mass
Grace Touhill performed a prelude to the service, Caccini’s “Ave Maria” with organist Cameron Kuzepski. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) gathered for the 2023 Fall Plenary Assembly in the Baltimore Basilica of the Assumption.
Life in Full Bloom: A Concert Reconnecting with the Natural World
A benefit and advocacy concert organized by Grace Touhill, held in collaboration with Blue Water Baltimore at the Vollmer Center, Cylburn Gardens and Arboretum in Baltimore, Maryland. This concert encompassed pieces ranging from art song to modern repertoire and encourages listeners to reflect, re-evaluate, and rekindle their personal relationship with the Earth. Collaborating musicians included pianist Yangwei Xu and flutist Giorgio Consolati. This concert was a community event sponsored by the Luke Touhill Foundation.
Beneath the Southern Cross: Songs of Dreams & Desire
Casa Thomas Jefferson, Brasília presents soprano Grace Touhill and pianist Jennifer Heemstra in a recital de voz as part of Casa Thomas Jefferson’s cultural exchange summer concert series. In addition to pieces in French, Spanish, and Portuguese, this program will feature works by American composers in celebration of July 4th.

Fourth of July Celebration Concert
Grace Touhill makes her international debut in Brasília, Brazil performing “Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5” by Villa-Lobos with the Orquestra Sinfonica Do Teatro Nacional Claudio Santoro in their 4th of July Celebration Concert. The Orquestra Sinfonica was conducted by Maestro Lee Mills, Associate Conductor of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. This performance was held at the Sala Funarte, Brasília.

Steinway Artists Concert
Steinway & Sons offers the stage to pianists Virginia Hogan and Jennifer Heemstra for an evening of two pianos at the Bethesda Steinway Piano Gallery. Grace Touhill performs as a guest artist, presenting “The Silver Aria” by American composer Douglas Moore and the “Cantilena” aria from Villa-Lobos’ Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5 in Portuguese for voice and piano alongside Ms. Heemstra.
Peabody Opera Etudes
Peabody’s Opera Etudes presents a collection of five new operatic scenes by Peabody composers in close collaboration with vocalists. Grace Herron performs as a guard Victor Cui’s “Shadow Stretches Long and White” & ensemble | Frederika (Cover) in William Martin’s “Zwischenspiel.”
Archdiocese of Baltimore 2023 Chrism Mass
Grace Herron served as a cantor and choir member for the Archdiocese of Baltimore 2023 Chrism Mass, held at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen.

World Premier: Good Friday Passion of St. John
A candlelit concert featuring the World Premiere of Steve Warner’s setting of the Good Friday Passion accompanied by harp in the Celtic tradition and conducted by the composer. Grace Herron performs as a featured soloist. This premier is followed by music and scripture in preparation for Holy Week by the Cathedral of Mary our Queen.

The Opera Project: Songs for St. Thomas
Grace Herron performs Bellini and Grieg as a soloist in this spring concert of art songs and arias with The Opera Project of NJ. This performance celebrates the 300th anniversary of Saint Thomas Episcopal Church!
Peabody Voice Departmental Recital
The Peabody Vocal Department presented this recital featuring vocal students of the Peabody Institute of Music in Baltimore, Maryland. Grace Herron represented Elizabeth Futral’s studio in a performance of Bellini’s “Qui la voce” aria from I Puritani with accompanist Junwen Liang!
Venus and Adonis
The Peabody Historical Performance Department presents John Blow’s historical semi-opera this Valentine’s Day weekend. Blow’s opera is based on the classical mythology of Venus and Adonis, a story of love, loss, and Cupid’s love-struck arrows twisting fate once again.
“The Gondoliers” Community Sing-Along
The Princeton Society of Musical Amateurs collaborates with The Gilbert and Sullivan Society to offer a community sing-through of “The Gondoliers,” with soprano Grace Herron performing the role of “Gianetta”. An orchestra is assembled and professional soloists arranged for so that the community can enjoy listening-to and singing as the chorus in a variety of the great works of choral literature.
